What Type of Blogger You Are: Part Time Blogger or Full Time Blogger

by Vivek on November 28, 2009

One of the most trending and the much waited questions is what do you want to hear and being called “a Part time blogger or Professional blogger”. As both of them are good and perfect according to their point of view but being good according to others point of view is more important as compared to ourselves.

There are certain things which create a difference in between them and they are being described as below:-

Working Strength

Part time bloggers post frequently (like me) because they had many reasons for that. Being as a student, has lots of work while on the other hand Professional Bloggers writes articles daily and they have a lot of work to do as they make their schedule of the day before going to bed at night. And when they wake up they make every effort to make that schedule work.

Friends/ Girlfriend

Part time blogger’s have lots of time to spend with their friends/girlfriends and with their beloved one’s because they doesn’t think about the money, traffic on their blog. They only want to spend their time with their loved ones. On the other hand professional bloggers think that if they spend their time with friends/girlfriend or loved ones then they are killing their valuable time. In that time they can read articles on other blogs, think of new article; make some RT’s and many more things. So does it mean that professional blogger’s does not have enough time to spend with the loved ones?

Entertainment

Part time blogger’s having almost all the 24 hours to entertain ourselves they can watch movies, play outdoor/indoor games. They have the total liberty to make themselves entertain. They do whatever they want and don’t care for anything. But professional bloggers do not have enough time to entertain themselves. They have to attend several blogger’s meets, busy schedule, and lot of work to do in so little time. Always think what they should write so that they get more visitors, more RT’s, etc. In the end does blogger don’t have enough time to watch a single movie in a week?

Social Interaction

Part time bloggers are more social as compared to professional bloggers why? Professional bloggers have enough time to interact with others while on the other hand professional bloggers are not so much social because they don’t have that enough amount of time to spend, according to them their single minute is very valuable. By engaging in any social interaction will result in killing their time. Does it mean that professional bloggers doesn’t have social life?

Mental Tension

Part time blogger’s don’t suffer from these types of conditions while the professional blogger’s suffers from this a lot. Part time blogger’s never think of traffic, money, etc. but being as professional blogger you have to think a lot because this is only the medium from where you will be getting money. Professional blogger is always in a tension whether he will be getting enough traffic or not, getting visitors or not, how many RT’s I got, how much money I earn today and many more. All of these things will create a pain and lot of tension into the minds of professional blogger.

Conclusion

As I have sighted some of the points which I think are the most prominent one. Being as a part time blogger or a professional blogger totally depends on your choice. Now its your turn to share your views with us in the comments section.

don’t really agree with most of your points, personally am a full time blogger and i get enough time for everything, be it reading books, evening walks, watch movies, waste time with family and friends, am not all that talkative offline but still manage to hangout with friends…

on the other hand professional blogging has taught me very important things, like discipline, hard work, time management and scheduling and planning… its all good :D

Everyone has its own opinion and views regarding this. As a professional blogger you have to be in discipline and do a lot of hard work and one of the most important thing is time management without this none of them will work efficiently. Finally in the end thanks for sharing your views with us.
