Tweet From Google Wave

Since, recently i have got the Google Wave invitation and want to extend his functionality as Google wave provides various extensions. Here i found how to embed Twitter functionality within the Google Wave. As we all are twitter lover’s and want to see twitter functionality everywhere. As we all of them having Google account and try to finding the ways how to tweet. You don’t have to worry about this, there is a Tweety which allows you to tweet from Google Wave. Tweety requires authentication, so make sure that you allow pop ups for Google Wave pages. Once you allow pop ups, try reloading the wave and Twitter authentication page appears. After authenticating with your Twitter account, Tweety loads and you have to just submit it. In this the twitter users that you see in the list of people you’re following look like other Wave members even though they may not have Wave accounts. Tweety lets you sign in to Twitter, read tweets from your friends and post a new tweet directly from Wave. Below is the step by step guide guide which helps you to integrate twitter and Google Wave.

Step 1

First login to Google Wave and then after it, go to your contacts window and click the +sign at the bottom to add a new contact (as shown in the image below):-

As you have added the required address, i.e. “tweety-wave@appspot.com“  in the space below now proceed to step 2

Step 2

Now create a new wave with this account and it will ask for authentication using a popup window. Make sure popups are not blocked or will have to allow them explicitly so that Twitter’s authentication window can authenticate your Google wave account to update your status on twitter.

You have to enable pop-ups and allow it to authenticate. After authenticating proceed to step 3

After authenticating your account, all your twitter updates are shown in that wave and you can now update your status from inside this wave and add
