Steps to Set-up Email-id on your Domain Name
- This is the first and basic step, go to Google Apps homepage and click on “Get Started”
- You have to just simply fill up the required information and click on “Get Started” as you see in the image below:
- Again you have to fill out the entries in the blanked columns and click on “Continue”.
- Now it will ask you about the username and password. Just fill out the proper user name and password and after filling out click on “continue”. And you are done
Verification Process
Now you will be asked to verify the ownership of the domain name
You will be presented with two options to verify as you see in the images below:
a) Upload an HTML file in the root directory
b) By changing the CNAME Records
I will go for the first one because it is quite easy and requires no technical skill, you have to only create an HTML file and upload it in the root directory as earlier I said.
Now you have uploaded the HTML file in the root directory just click on I have completed the steps and you are done.
