CAT 2009 Aspirant Friendly

CAT (Common Admission Test) examination, gateway to enter into the prestigious B-Schools, the IIM’s will be somewhat friendly this year why? This is the first time that CAT is going online and none of them have enough experience to give this examination. Already most of the aspirants have joined some coaching classes and test series, so as to help them in the main examination. There are no more days left in the examination and everyone worried about the paper. What will be the pattern and many more questions will be striking in your mind.

This year around 2,47,000 aspirants will be going to give the CAT exam which is scheduled from November 28 to December 28. This year all the aspirants have an extra advantage because the numbers of aspirants are less as compared to last year. According to the sources, this year all the examination centers will be air-conditioned. As compared to past year the duration of examination is 3 hours but this year the duration of examination will be 2 hours and 15 minutes with a 15 minute tutorial prior to the examination which helps the candidate with the new examination format and how will they take the examination. This online scheme provides a facility to candidates that they can give test on any of the 10 days from November 28 to December 7 which was not available previously.

Prometric, the organization which is going to conduct the CAT 2009 already informed all the aspirants by e-mail about the “Prometric Test Center Rules and Regulations” which candidates need to observe before going to give examination.
